| Research Activity |
Administrative Staff College of India started its Research Division in the year 1973 with support from Ford Foundation. Since then research on management issues in Indian organizations, both public and private, has been one of the main activities at ASCI, with potential linkages between research and consultancy / executive training.
Research at ASCI emanates from two sources namely, Research grants from external sources and Competitive internal research grant programme.
The research projects culminate in - Publication of papers in various International / National journals, - Conference proceedings, - Working and Occasional papers - Presentations in research colloquiums, seminars etc. In addition, ASCI publishes ASCI Journal of Management and monographs.
Several private and public research sector organizations have initiated endowment of chairs for supporting research at the College, apart from several efforts that are under consideration to increase research productivity at ASCI, including - Effective implementation of competitive internal research grant programme. - Establishment of Case-study Center, - Recruitment of research fellows for projects. |
