The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, is organizing a three day training program on
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Schools
during June 21 - 23, 2018 at Hyderabad.

Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in schools has a profound impact on the learning and health of children. In the recent years, Government of India as well as State and local governments have made substantial investments and concerted efforts towards improvement in WASH infrastructure in its 1 million government run schools and at least double that number of private schools. This momentum of progress needs to be maintained and accelerated.

The programme will act as a platform for WASH professionals, corporates, foundations, and representatives from government and schools to discuss, share and visit best practices. The program adopts an interactive approach, with a blend of lectures, case studies, video films, simulation exercises, exchange of experiences, knowledge checks, quizzes and group discussions and field visits 

The program is most appropriate for professionals in the water and sanitation sector; officials associated with school administration; NGOs, foundations and corporates engaged/ interested in contributing to the WinS program, students and researchers. This programme has its focus on the following:
