The Centre for Human Development (CHD) comprises three areas: Health Studies, Education Studies and Gender Studies. For the Centre for Human Development, ASCI, the Millennium Development Goals are indivisible. The Centre for Human Development works independently and in close coordination with other centres at ASCI to develop a multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach to development issues and themes. Faculty at the Centre have strengths and capacities in as varied disciplines as social anthropology, health management, health economics, gender, public policy, educational leadership and communication technology and development.
