Training and Learning Methodology

The programme adopts an interactive approach with a blend of lectures, discussions, case studies, video films, simulation exercises, exchange of experiences and field visits. In addition the programme offers opportunities for participants to interact with national and international experts and practitioners.

Resource Persons

The programme will be offered jointly by Administrative Staff College of India and Campus Veolia Environnement, France. Senior international practitioners and technical experts from the various countries, where Veolia operates as well as experts on contract management will provide expertise and resource inputs. The Administrative Staff College of India will have experts, advisors, consultants in water supply, sewerage and urban infrastructure to provide resource support.

Participants

The programme is aimed at policy makers including elected representatives, senior municipal administrators and officials, municipal engineers and other urban sector professionals from state and city governments and water utilities. Representatives of leading private sector organizations, financial institutions and multilateral agencies will also find the programme useful.

Dates

The programme dates are : 11 January 2010 to 15 January 2010 Hyderabad, India. 18 January 2010 to 22 January 2010 in Rabat and Tangiers, Morocco.

Venue and Facilities


The programme is a fully residential one. The India component of the programme is to be organized at ASCI, Hyderabad. ASCI offers comfortable air conditioned classrooms, well equipped library and computer centre, comfortable single occupancy, air conditioned accommodation and above all, a beautiful campus. During the international component of the programme, participants will be accommodated at the well equipped Le Diwan Rabat ex Sofitel Hotel in the imperial city of Rabat.

Certification

A Certificate of Participation will be issued upon completion of the training programme. An international Certification in PPP Management will be issued after successful completion of individual project report (optional). ASCI Alumni Association Participants will become members of the ASCI Alumni Association.

Registration and Program Fee

The programme fee is Rs 95,000 + 10.30% Service Tax including tuition, board and lodging, courseware and economy class airfare (Hyderabad-Morocco roundtrip). The College is exempted from Income tax and therefore tax deduction at source is not required.
