Professor Raj V. Ponnaluri currently the Dean of Training & Conferences and Area Chairperson of Operations Management, Centre for Management Studies, ASCI, Hyderabad is B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.S. from Duke University, North Carolina; MBA from University of Central Florida, and a registered Professional Engineer in the Unites States.
During his 15 years of professional career in USA and in India, Raj had been involved in over 300 projects that ranged in scope and size, and had executed the assignments with client focus and due diligence. He is an expert in transport and highway systems and had managed projects in the areas of long- and short-range plans development; traffic engineering & operations; intelligent transport systems; public transport and bus rapid transit systems; contract management; goods, services & consultant procurement; public private partnership; electronic toll collection; road safety; and the application of general management principles.
Dr. Raj Ponnaluri has published in international journals of repute including the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Research Board of the National Academy of Sciences, USA. He has presented his research at several international conferences, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and had delivered numerous sessions on Projects and Contract Management, General and Strategic Management, and Industrial Operations.
Prof. Ponnaluri is a member of several national and international bodies that promote sustainable transport systems, safe engineering practices, and project management excellence. He also serves as a reviewer of articles submitted for publication in international journals.
