Since then research on management issues in Indian organizations, both public and private, has been one of the main activities at ASCI, with potential linkages between research and consultancy / executive training.

Research at ASCI emanates from two sources namely,
Research grants from external sources and
Competitive internal research grant programme.

The research projects culminate in

- Presentations in research colloquiums, seminars etc.
In addition, ASCI publishes ASCI Journal of Management and monographs.
