Dr. Prabhati Pati is currently the Director-Centre for Management Studies, Professor & Chairperson-Human Resources Area, Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
She holds Ph.D. in Organization Behavior from IIT Kharagpur and her Doctoral thesis is on “Designing Organizations for Innovation, Performance and Quality of Work Life”.
She has conducted several General Management Programmes, Advanced Management Programmes and Leadership Development Programmes for top Management and Senior Management Officials from Corporate Sector and Government of India apart from conducting a large number of theme-based programmes in the areas of Managerial Excellence, Creativity & Innovation, Leadership, Women in Management, Team Building, Executive Communication, Organizational Culture Building and Change Management, Performance Management, etc.
Her academic interests include Organizational Effectiveness, Cross-functional teams / Self managed work teams, Leadership, Creating Culture for High Performance, Organization Development, Human Resources Strategy, Psychological Capital, Employee Engagement and Managerial Excellence.
She has published several research papers in various professional journals. Her consultancy interests are in the areas of Performance Improvement, Interface Management, Human Resource Management and Organization Development Strategies, Employee Engagement and Human Factors for Organizational Excellence. Recently, she had undertaken research projects titled “Community Policing in Hyderabad” and “Assessing the Quality of Police Services in Hyderabad” for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.
