Qualifications: Ph.D in Agriculture and allied disciplines including Agribusiness Management or  Rural Development / Rural Management and related area

Domain Experience:

  • 15 years of training and / or development research and/ or management consulting. 
  • Experience of training practicing managers or policy makers or development officials from agriculture and allied sectors. 
  • The training experience must include program design, curriculum development, execution of programmes and delivery of sessions.
  • The research experience desired is more towards development/ applied research and not pure research. Proven research work in the areas of agricultural policy, Governance, monitoring of schemes and programmes, evaluation studies and impact assessment are desirable. 
  • Management consulting experience may include Government advisory through establishment of Project Management Units, Transaction Advisory etc. Project management experience in handling grant projects from reputed International donors is an added advantage.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and developing projects/training professionals and securing sponsors is essential.

Qualification: Ph.D in Human Resources Management in areas including but not limited to HR policy framework, Strategic HRM, Performance Management, Training and Development, Recruitment, Organisational Behaviour, Compensation and Benefits etc.  

Domain Expertise:

  • Experience of design and delivery of customized training programmes for practicing managers and professionals from public sector enterprises and private organizations
  • Consistent record in delivery of highly rated sessions that involve activity-based approaches, participatory methods, management games, simulations, etc
  • Anchoring consulting assignments on a range of HRM related topics including competency mapping, HR Planning, HR audit, etc
  • Administration experience including securing assignments, delivery management, client management, etc
  • Publications in reputed National and International Journals
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

In addition to the execution experience as detailed above, aspiring candidates must possess experience in securing training programmes or assignments from sponsoring agencies (Government/ Public Sector/ Corporates) by conceptualizing new ideas, converting them into proposals, persuading potential clients and conversion into business.

 The Salary Package

  • Professor: Pay scale 150350 - 263750 & Gross Pay per Month Rs.234547/- at minimum of scale.
  • Associate Professor: Pay scale 134420 - 235830 & Gross Pay per Month Rs.209695/- at minimum of scale.
  • Assistant Professor: Pay scale 55520 - 97470 & Gross Pay per Month Rs.86611/- at minimum of scale.

Higher emoluments may be considered for exceptionally deserving candidates.

The positions carry a number of benefits apart from the gross pay, such as Conveyance Allowance (1680 – 4500), Contributory PF @12% of Basic + DA, Leave Encashment, Medical, LTA and family accommodation in campus in lieu of HRA. These appointments are on a contractual basis, initially for a period of three years, subject to probation of one year and fulfillment of specified work norms. After three years the appointment is renewable subject to satisfactory performance.  The age of superannuation is 60 years.
