The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is a autonomous self-financing society established in 1956 at the initiative of the Government of India and the Industry and enjoys a high reputation amongst management training institutions of the country.  ASCI offers short term programs for management development and also undertakes applied research and consultancy work for government, industry and international agencies.

Relevant experience:

Candidates should possess experience of   12  to 18 years teaching/research/ professional experience in reputed institutes of management.

A demonstrated track record of business development for training /consultancy/ Applied Research is essential, including:

  • Conceptualization, design and development and delivery of training programs including teaching; for Enterprises, Institutions and Government agencies.
  • Development and delivery of consultancy and applied research projects for sponsors and clients in Government, institutional and corporate segments.

The ability to lead teams and work with peers is essential.

  • Publications in referred journals

The Salary Package

  • Associate Professor: Pay scale 134420 - 235830 & Gross Pay per Month Rs.223137/- at minimum of scale.

Higher emoluments may be considered for exceptionally deserving candidates.

The positions carry a number of benefits apart from the gross pay, such as Conveyance Allowance (1680 – 4500), Contributory PF @12% of Basic + DA, Leave Encashment, Medical, LTA and family accommodation in campus in lieu of HRA. These appointments are on a contractual basis, initially for a period of three years, subject to probation of one year and fulfillment of specified work norms. After three years the appointment is renewable subject to satisfactory performance.  The age of superannuation is 60 years.
